Founded in 2010 by Tekin Karadag, the firm has created extraordinary environments all over the world. PARTNER
DUYGU KARADAĞ
Duygu trained at the Yıldız Technical University in Istanbul. Duygu has worked as an interior designer in Istanbul for more than 20 years creating luxury interiors for her clients.
Duygu understands the importance of getting to know her clients and taking the time to understand their brief. This enables her to focus on each design individually, ensuring that a client’s likes and dislikes, along with the functionality of the space, are fully taken into account.
By working closely with her team of highly skilled and qualified designers Duygu is able to manage every aspect of the design process, taking a project through from the initial design concept to completion.
PARTNER
TEKİN KARADAĞ
Tekin has worked as an interior designer in Istanbul for more than 15 years creating luxury interiors for Residential, Hotel and commercial clients. He founded Step Design in 2010. Working both in Turkey and internationally, his clients include some of the world’s leading political and financial figures as well as young families and individuals.
Tekin manages each project from the initial meeting through to completion, working with a team of highly skilled craftsmen. He has an outstanding team of associate consultants that can be called upon as required, including quantity surveyors, architects, approved contractors, engineers, furniture and lighting designers.
Communication, quality of work and attention to detail are the most important parts of the process ensuring which ensures we reach our client’s expectations. Each design is tailored to the individual requirements, style, and budget of the client. From a full interior to a single room, the same attention to detail is given to each aspect of the design.
JUNIOR PARTNER
ENGİN MERT KARADAĞ
Mert was born in Istanbul in 1999 as the son of an architect mother and father. After graduating from Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School, one of the most valuable schools in Istanbul, he completed his undergraduate degree in 2022 in English interior architecture at Beykent University, a foundation university, in order to continue his family business. As the second generation representative of Step Design, it is leading the way to bring the spaces to our customers in a more realistic way, especially by using 3D designs and VR technology, due to the desire to develop this profession, which he has been interested in and has been living in since his childhood, with new generation technology and innovations.
